- Marble powder is a product obtained by grinding limestone rocks containing mainly calcium carbonate. It takes the form of fine, white, light, powdery particles. Marble powder is available in different grain sizes, enabling finishes ranging from very fine to very coarse.
- Composition: 93% Calcium Carbonate + 3% Magnesium Carbonate
- In decoration, it is used as a natural pigment in paint, wallpaper, decorative coatings, or as a natural mineral filler/ texture enhancer in the preparation of casein paints or lime, whitewash, coating, stucco, and cement. In the construction industry, it is used to make lightweight concrete, screeds, plasters and mortars. In the craft industry it is used for sculptures, mosaics and jewelry.
- The addition of Marble Dust to other substances does not affect the original colour of the substance so it is a great way to enhance texture or be used as a filler with no impact on colour.
